The Laker Celtic Showdown

The Lakers win Game 6, with a score of 89-67. Thus forcing the series into Game 7…It’s now or never, all or nothing. One team will leave a World Champion, and another will be second best (aka Losers, let’s be honest here).

After losing in Boston, the Lakers came back to LA, and gave the Celtics the business. The Lakers were ahead with an average of 10 points in the first half and 20 in the second. The Celtics could never get closer than 14 in the second half. Lakers guard, Shannon Brown had two beautiful dunks that seemed to more than prove the rejuvenation of LA. The Celtics lost a key player, Kendrick Perkins midway through the first quarter. This was the start of the Celtics losing their rebounding edge. In most cases, when the Lakers beat the Celtics in this way, it is because they out rebounded…Stats on this game: Rebounding, 52-39.

Game 7 is on Thursday night and will undoubtedly be the best of this entire series.
