Poor Lil Stafon

It seems that Stafon Johnson can’t seem to catch a break. The former USC Running Back is known for surviving a tragic accident in the weight room last year. While lifting, the bar slipped out of his hand and crushed his neck. Johnson had a full recovery a year later and was drafted to the Tennessee Titans.  In his debut game on Saturday, Johnson left with the game ball, but it came at the cost of a dislocated right ankle and broken fibula. At first reports, head coach Jeff Fisher had said Johnson would remain in the orgainization but would be out up to 12 weeks recovering from surgery. But as luck would have it, Johnson has been released from the Titans after just one game and is being replaced by Samkon Gado- formerly of the St. Louis Rams. This is just one of those bad luck stories that makes you realize how much injury plays a role in the world of sports.
