The news in Minnesota has been all about Brett Favre’s return, until yesterday when wide receiver Percy Harvin collapsed on the practice field.  According to the team, Harvin, who has sat out most of training camp because he suffers from migraine headaches, was trembling and unresponsive for a brief period after he collapsed. He was then picked up by an ambulance and taken to a local hospital.

Vikings head coach, Brad Childress had this to say about what he saw, “I don’t know how they classify it. Not really a seizure, but he had some trouble over here. Percy appreciates everyone’s concern,” Childress said. “He is alert and resting comfortably but will remain in the hospital overnight.”

Harvin, a first-round draft pick in 2009, was second among Vikings receivers with 60 receptions and 790 yards last season. Our prayers are with him today.
