22- 19 Auburn Takes Home the Trophy

Posted: January 11, 2011 by NattieLiz in Cam Newton, NCAA Football, Oregon Ducks

Last nights BCS National Championship Game ended in a 22-19 Auburn victory. The game really didn’t get cracking until the final 2 minutes. Oregon may have relied too much on their spiffy Nike Unis, which shoes seemed to have them sliding all over the field missing some key plays. With that said- Let the 2011 College Football season start: NOW!!!!

Auburn vs Oregon: Soul Plane

Posted: January 9, 2011 by NattieLiz in Fans, NCAA Football, Oregon Ducks

We are only one day away from the BCS Title game against Oregon and Auburn. Apparently, Auburn Fans are taking over the friendly skies… Check out this video of the Auburn Fight Song, or should I say, FLIGHT Song. I could have sworn this was not legal, because if it was, could you imagine how cool it would be if I slipped a copy of “We Ballin’ Boys!!” to the pilot on my flight every year for the Miami Homecoming Game: EPIC!

It’s only fair that we let Oregon have their best shot at it…OOooooo and they TP’d the flight!! Of course I think that’s amazing, but the average person might find this the most annoying flight in the world.

Oregon Reveals BCS Uniforms

Oregon will take on Auburn in the BCS National Championship Game, January 10, 2011. This past Tuesday Nike unveiled the uniforms the Ducks will be sporting on the field that day. The team is known for their uniform swagg but this one might take the cake. Let’s hope Cam Newton has his sunglasses on, because with those neon socks running up on him, he’s gonna need em!

What a FAKER!

Cal is down by only a few points against the #1 college football team in the nation.. To stay in the game.. would you fake injuries to slow down the blazing Oregon ducks?? Let’s face it the Ducks play fast, very very fast and the only way to slow them down is to bring out your best dramatics. This is what seemed to happen last Saturday when the Cal Bears gave Oregon a run for their money. Through out the game many of the Bears were falling out just after appearing to be just fine moments before.  At 13- 15 suddenly the Cal bears had phantom injuries left and right. They would even look to the side lines for signals of whose turn it was to pull a hami. They were taking cues from World Cup soccer or even pulling a Vlade Divac.  If its true that the Bears went into this game with that strategy they could be in some trouble for violating NCAA rules. Cal head coach Jeff  Tedford just chalked it up as “O” fans having some serious paranoia: “I know any time anybody goes down against Oregon, (Ducks fans) always think that’s the case, but it’s not the case.”

The Losers Bracket

Posted: June 13, 2010 by NattieLiz in NCAA Football, Oregon Ducks, The Losers Bracket

Ladies we all know, our first Loser is none other than Ben Roethlisberger… We can not make fun of this guy enough. If your man shows any similarities to Big Ben, we advice you start packing immediately.

The Newest Member of our oh-so-Popular, “Losers Bracket”, is none other than Oregon quarterback Jeremiah Masoli. As if it wasn’t enough for this kid to be suspended for the entire 2010 season for stealing laptops and a guitar from a frat house, he has now been dismissed from the Football team all together. Last Wednesday, two days after a police officer cited Masoli for marijuana possession and driving infractions, Coach Kelly gave him the MUCH over due Sayonara!

It seems that off the field he can not seem to get it together. His on the field accomplishments include throwing for 2,147 yards and 15 touchdowns last season. He now finishes his Oregon career with 1,386 rushing yards, the most ever by a Ducks quarterback. WOW. Way to blow it, Let’s hope with his one year of eligibility left he can take his talent and get back on track.
