New Years day, TCU took home a Rose Bowl trophy as they defeated Wisconsin 21-19. There are many debates about the logic of the BCS. Some people would argue that TCU’s schedule is a joke in comparison to the BIG 10.  But TCU proved to be able to play with the big boys and took home the trophy.

One person who is not a fan of the BCS system in Ohio State president E. Gordan Gee. In November he was quoted saying that TCU was “the little sisters of the poor” and do not deserve a title shot because their schedule is nothing like the “murder’s row” schedule of the Big 10. Ya, um about that…. TCU didn’t take those comments lightly. After their Rose Bowl win the TCU faithful collected money to purchase up to 20 electronic billboard signs in-and-around Columbus, OH to send a nice little message to Ohio State:
